StepShown is a collection of calculators, planners, and comparison tools. Each tool starts with a real question. Change a number and the answer updates right away. You do not need an account.
The goal is simple. When careful math can make a real problem easier to understand, StepShown should help you work through it.
What StepShown is not
StepShown is not a lender, broker, insurer, medical provider, tax adviser, school, or appraisal service. An appraisal is a professional estimate of value. StepShown does not use an artificial intelligence model to make calculator results. It never presents an estimate as a real quote or professional advice.
The product standard
Every tool should be fast, work with assistive technology, protect private information, explain what it cannot know, and work well on a phone. It should help you compare choices, not only produce a number.
